Take a Look at Creek Hollow of McKinney, TX
Creek Hollow is an established neighborhood with a wonderful country atmosphere. With
our spacious houses, our tree-lined streets, lots cradled by the creeks that meanders through
the neighborhood, and being home to a strong community with high expectations for the
quality of life within our neighborhood. Through many volunteer projects and an active
neighborhood association, Creek Hollow has re-captured the old time feeling of a real
community.
Creek Hollow Neighborhood
Located approximately 30 miles north of Dallas, McKinney’s gently rolling hills, tree-lined
neighborhoods, historic downtown and beautiful parks give the city a quaint, small town feel
– quite different from the Metroplex’s urban sprawl. The friendly charm and comfortable
pace belies the fact that McKinney, with a population that reached 100,000 people in
November of 2005, is the fastest-growing city in America.
McKinney was incorporated on March 16, 1848 and is the county seat of Collin County.
The City was named after Collin McKinney, a pioneer, land surveyor, and Texas lawmaker
who helped draft and signed the Texas Declaration of Independence.
Creek Hollow is located in North McKinney. From Highway 75, take the Wilmeth Road
exit and head West. Turn right at the light on Community Avenue. Head North for about
1/4 mile, to the Creek Hollow entrance on the West (left) side. There are two entrances, the
first one is Brinlee Branch Lane and the second one is Avalon Creek Way.
